Curricular Acitivities

REQUIREMENT OF ATTENDANCE IN SUBJECTS OF INTERNAL ASSESSMENT

1)      No student from a school affiliated to the Board shall be eligible to take the Secondary and Senior School Certificate Examinations conducted by the Board unless he has completed 75% of attendance counted from the opening of class X/XII up to the first of the month preceding the month in which the examination commences in the subject of internal assessment. Also no student from a school affiliated to the Board shall be eligible to take the class IX/X/XI examination conducted by the School unless he has completed 75% of attendance in class IX/X/XI in the subject of internal assessment.

SCHEME OF EXAMINATIONS-GRADING (SECONDARY SCHOOL EXAMINATIONS)

  1. At the Secondary School Examination assessment of subject under Scholastic area A shall be in numerical scores to concerted to Grades on a nine-point scale which shall be indicated in the Statement of subject wise Performance/Certificate of school-based Assessment. Assessment subject under Scholastic Area B shall also be in grades, as per scheme of studies.

  2. The qualifying grade in each subject under Scholastic Area A shall be minimum Grade D

  3. The student will assessed in subject under Scholastic Area A using the conventional numerical marking and latter converted into the grades and the same be awarded .

Cumulative grade point average (CGPA) would also be reflected in the Statement of Subject wise performance

Note: Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) is average of Grade Point obtained in all subject excluding 6th additional subject as per Scheme of Studies. Grade point percentage of marks can be assessed as under:

  • Subject wise indicative percentage of marks = 9.5 x GP of the subject

  • Overall indicative percentage of marks = 9.5 x CGPA

  1. Examination is conducted in two terms each term includes two formatives and one summative (FA1, FA2, SA1) + (FA3, FA4, SA2)

  2. (a) Formative includes: Activities, project, class test (oral and written) quiz, seminars, debate etc along with U.Ts

(b) Summative is pen paper test at the end of each term.

  1. Final assessment is done on the basis of performance of whole year.

(a) National talent test and Olympiads are organized yearly (certificate/gifts and scholarship are provided)

(a) Monthly tuition fee is waived as scholarship for a year for class toppers (school provides)

(b) Rs. Five hundred from 10th onwards, if qualifie NTSE, provided by NCERT

(c) Rs. Five hundred, yearly for punctuality (attendance above 95%) and sincerity and discipline

  1. Club-School is divided into five clubs (Class fifth on ward)

(a) Science club

(b) Math’s club

(c) English club

(d) Hindi club

(e) Computer club, (writing poem, article, preparing paper for seminar, project of science and math’s etc.

  1. House activities:- a well planned house system under proper guidance to take active part in co-curricular activities, to train in personal responsibilities.

Four houses- under House master/in-charge House teachers and one house captain. Each house has four groups-tiny-tots, sub junior, junior and senior weekly house meeting and monthly house competitions are held regularly..

School magazine – Annual school magazine to provide wider scope for children to express their views, thought, creativity and build up confidence and to explore the self-under the proper guidance of principal, editor (Academic in charge) sub Editor, students editor, students sub editors and concerned subject teachers as well as class teachers.

  2. Cultural activities – Dance classes, music, drama, singing, competition, under the proper guidance of skilled teachers.

  3. Remedial classes for needed students

  4. Extra classes for moral teaching and awareness

  5. Excursion – school trips, yearly outing is organized

  6. Inter school – competition is organized time to time. Special Kota classes for AIPMT ,JEE,NDA,NTSE from 9th to 12th
